2. Who may use this website

You may use this website if you are able to understand and agree to these terms. If you submit information on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. If a program is meant for students, minors or young participants, parent or guardian consent may be required before participation, photographs, interviews, testimonials, data collection or follow-up communication.

3. Website content

We try to keep content accurate and updated, but program dates, availability, eligibility, participation options, pricing, shipping timelines and campaign status may change. Bhalai Foundation may update, remove or change website content without prior notice. Information on this website should not be treated as legal, medical, financial, tax, employment, investment or professional advice.

4. Forms and program registrations

When you submit a form, you agree to provide information that is true, current and complete to the best of your knowledge. Submitting a form does not guarantee selection, participation, funding, employment, volunteering approval, partnership approval, device allocation, merchandise availability, donation benefit or any other outcome. Bhalai Foundation may accept, reject, waitlist, close, defer or request additional information for any submission based on program suitability, capacity, documentation, safety, availability, partner requirements or compliance needs.

5. Volunteer and program participation

Volunteers, mentors, partners, donors, supporters and participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly. You agree not to misuse Bhalai Foundation programs to harass, mislead, exploit, discriminate, collect unauthorised personal information, promote unrelated services, make false promises, or pressure beneficiaries, candidates, students, families, partners or staff. Bhalai Foundation may remove any person or organisation from a program if their conduct affects safety, dignity, privacy, trust, legal compliance or program integrity.

6. Bhalai SpeedHire and employability programs

Bhalai SpeedHire and related work-readiness programs improve access to preparation, mentoring, interview readiness, referrals, employer connections and confidence. Bhalai Foundation does not guarantee employment, salary, job interviews, job offers, joining dates, employer decisions or career outcomes. Candidates should never pay anyone for job guarantees in the name of Bhalai Foundation — report any such demand to aditya@bhalai.org.

7. Donations and contributions

Donations are voluntary. Donation use, receipt timelines, refund-in-error rules, tax status and foreign contribution restrictions are explained in our Donation Policy. Unless specifically confirmed in writing, a donation does not create ownership, control, voting rights, commercial rights, exclusive branding rights or guaranteed program outcomes.

8. Shop, merchandise and sponsorship products

Product images, colours, availability, sizes, shipping timelines and pricing may vary. If an item is out of stock, delayed, discontinued or unavailable, we may offer a replacement, reschedule, refund or cancellation per our Refund and Shipping policies. Buying merchandise is different from making a donation unless the product page clearly says it is a donation or sponsorship product.

9. Payment and order processing

Payments may be processed through UPI and third-party payment gateways. Bhalai Foundation does not store full card details on its own systems. Orders, donations and sponsorships are confirmed only after payment is successfully captured or verified — UPI payments are confirmed after the transaction reference is verified by our team.

10. Use of logos, names and partner references

You may not use the Bhalai Foundation name, logo, badges, GIVE+ marks, campaign names, reports, photographs, beneficiary stories, partner references or program assets without written permission. Supporter and partner names are published only after written permission.

11. Impact claims and GIVE+ proof

Bhalai Foundation publishes impact through its GIVE+ system after records are checked. Targets, plans, field records, estimates and verified outcomes are not the same thing and are labelled separately. Environmental estimates, including estimated carbon impact, are not carbon credits, offsets or certified climate claims unless separately verified and certified under an accepted methodology.

12. Prohibited use

  • submitting false, misleading or harmful information;
  • uploading malicious code, spam or unauthorised content;
  • copying website content for misrepresentation or resale;
  • impersonating Bhalai Foundation, its team, partners, patrons or volunteers;
  • misusing forms to collect contacts or solicit beneficiaries;
  • making unauthorised fundraising claims in Bhalai's name;
  • interfering with website security, availability or administration.

13. Third-party links and limitation of liability

Payment gateways, shipping providers, maps, social media and partner websites are governed by their own terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bhalai Foundation is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from website use, program non-selection, partner decisions, technology errors, payment delays, shipping delays, event changes or user-submitted incorrect information. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or use of this website.
